Hey Robyn,
I'm sorry that I missed the Zombie Walk. I really wanted to go, but my landscaping boss was late giving me the cheque that I needed. Judging by your pictures, it looks like you had a good time anyway.

If you're up for it, I'd still like to meet and hang out sometime. Perhaps we can get a coffee one evening next week. I'm free just about every night. Let me know what works for you.

Feel free to call me at home any time.
(leave a message if you don't get me right away)

Sounds good! I've got a pretty hectic two weeks coming up, though, so no promises, but if I can manage a coffee break, that would be slick.

And don't worry about the Zombie Walk, a lot of people missed out on it. Going downtown is incredibly inconvenient.

Slick :)
I like that word. Is that slang from WW2 era?
I looked up slick in the Urban Dictionary and there are 3 definitions:
1. Perfect in manner; sharp, attentive, having perfect answers for virtually all questions, and, of course, large amounts of gel in hair.
"that's why they call me slick."
2. cool, original, something (a task etc) that has been well done
"Robyn, that was slick."
3. Smooth, cool, awesome.
"Robyn is so slick."

You said it! Going downtown IS incredibly inconvenient. That's why I need to move there. I went to Rancho Relaxo on Tuesday night for a show and I ended up missing the last Viva bus back to Richmond Hill. I had to wait an hour and a half at Yonge and Steeles for the first YRT bus to arrive. It sucked moist horse balls. By the way, the horse balls were moist because it was raining.
I'm looking forward to possibly seeing you this coming week. Do you want to plan for a certain day?

Robyn November 1 at 2:43pm
Let's not plan for a specific day, since I don't know if I'm even going to be able to go out this week. But I'll at least have the courtesy to call you a couple hours in advance to ask. Do you think it would be cool if Sam came out with us as well, or..?

or...??
I had to think about my reply for a bit.
I've decided that I'm going to be as direct as I possibly can right now because I've learned that if I'm not, I'll only be fucking myself over in the end. What's the point in life if one can't be honest with themselves and their friends?
The reason that I'm asking you to come out and spend some time with me is because I want to get to know you on more of a personal level. Since you used to stare at me all the time when we were going to Alexander Mackenzie, I've developed a kind of fascination for you.
Then I started seeing you again around York. I wanted to introduce myself, but, you see, I can be terribly shy sometimes.
Now that, coincidentally, we've worked together for a short while, I've realized that I actually find you to be really nice and quite interesting. Furthermore, I think you're funny, witty, intelligent, and to top it all off, really cute.
By all means, if you're not on the same page as me or if you simply don't have the guts to spend some quality time with me alone, bring Sam along, it's cool, I won't be upset.
