In light of my situation, I decided to revamp my layout. I tend to get easily bored of my chosen graphics too often, which I wished I would not.
This past week I've been in a very inspirational mood by different things I've come across online. I plan on doing tons while I've got my creative juices flowing. I feel that I have accepted the fact that I love the arts (not that I hadn't noticed before) very deeply since no matter what I decide on doing, I always go back to my lovely artistic side. In a sense, I feel I've grasped my appreciation for my artistic style to its full potential is what I mean to say. A good example of this struggle that caused me to 'ignore' my creativity was through choosing my career path - which at this moment I am continuously questioning. Have no fear (I tell myself) since there are many mini courses I intend on taking in the future, a few being on the topic of photography, graphic design, and sewing. In time all will come together, for now I shall get my butt to studying dentistry and once school time is over... play time will commence (muahaha, freeeeeedom!). My life shall consist of Dental Hygiene by day, Clubraving/ photography freelancing/ apparel making/ and photoediting by night.
`TIS PERRR-FECT !
Holy crap, I can't believe it's almost April! I guess this year is going by alot faster than I had thought. My little sister's going to be throwing a party soon and you know who the bouncer is going to be ;)
My prom dress came in the mail about two days ago, I shall also take a photo of this masterpiece in timeee. Today I got some new manic panic make-up: raven, virgin, and red vampire are my must have colours lol.
Lady Gaga's Monster Ball is coming to Toronto on July 11 & 12, that's 1-2 days after my birthday!
What a lovely gift for myself it would be if I got the VIP selection but.... they are so expensive and money I do not have to spend at this moment... hmm. If it is meant to be it will just happen I guess is what I'm going to go with for now. I missed her previous tour but alas, I'm sure there will be many more albums to come so I am not too worried about that. One of my goals would be to get a picture with her, so I'm going to have to plan that idea out one day (pshhyah okay Erika).
Yesterday I was asked to do some photography work for my aunt's performing art's academy (
www.synergyperformingartsacademy.ca/) which is always something fun I like to part take in.
I got to attend the Brampton Arts Council's annual meeting and speak with Brampton's mayor Susan Fenell which was also pretty cool.
What amazed me about the setting was that it was at Brampton City Hall (which I've never been to before) and the interior of the building reminded me of this movie scene I watched... if the name comes to me i'll edit this lol. And the lighting, how it made my eyes melt.
Look Through The Lens
The musicians entertained as I passed around getting shots at different angles, they came out pretty good! We didn't leave until close to 10pm and I was starving, my stomach started grumbling around 8pm and it went down hill from there. Got to munch on some gourmet appetizers (I hate gourmet, the food is portioned so tiny, like really, whose going to eat only one?) but sadly, it was not enough to tame my grumbling tummy.
I was later approached by Snap (a local news company) to get an image of myself with my aunt. All I could think in my mind was (no, no, no, no, no) because I came dressed 'out of setting' and needed to MAJORLY do my eyebrows. Hopefully it didn't come out too detailed, I'll also post the image in here when I get my hands on a copy. I was then approached by for a second photo, by the Art Council's photographer to my delight (ahhhhhhh !). I think I have offically decided to fix myself up when I go out from this point on since I will then be prepared when bumping into any situation unexpectedly lol.
Anyways, just a quick update... gota wake up early to study for a test.
I now leave you with the weirdest song I've heard this week for your consitpation-love sounding ears: watagatapitusberry - lil Jon ft. Pitbull, pretty catchy can;t lie :P ..when the frog throat singing comes along I can't help but laugh each time.
To think of it... it's probably something my sister and I would most likely do hahaa...
