so,i think i'm going to go on a diet..i've been thinking about it and i really dont think i've lost any weight. i thought i was since all my clothes were fitting better but then i remember that we dont have dryers thus my clothes dont shrink back to normal after i wear them. i look at pictures that people post and i almost always look fat! i dont know what's going on..its not like i eat that unhealthy. in fact, i eat veges most of the time and maybe one bread product. i also walk EVERY WHERE and since we live outside the city walls, it takes us at least ten mintues (uphill) to get into town. eric said that he has lost ten pounds...i dont want him coming back to some fat ass. i dont know...this could all be in my head.
we went to florence this last weekend. we went to the uffizi which was just ok...honestly it wasn't as great as everyone makes it out to be. at the same time, i am not at all interested in art museums. the academia was AMAZING! the david was BEAUTIFUL! i couldn't believe how big it was!
that night was my roommates birtday and we ended up going to a dance club. it was pretty fun.
this weekend we are going to a hill town just outside of siena and the following weekend we are going to pisa! i get to see the leaning tower plus we are going to see an opera.
so, far my trip has been amazing but it has not been w/out drama. the roommate situation is ok except for one girl...why do i always get the awful roommate!? i love the two other girls i live with but we all agree that this girl is terrible. she never does the dishes or cleans up after herself. it just sucks.
the trips i've taken have also been amazing but again, there is always a certain amount of stress that goes with them. we are going to spain in a couple of weeks are we are all pretty nervous because none of us speak spanish.
christmas season is coming...they have started so string lights around the whole town! i can't wait until they are turned on...this is definitely the place to be during the christmas season. i've bought almost everyone's gifts and they haven't cost me hardly anything...thank god they have outdoor markets!!
speaking of markets, i went today and ended up buying coat comparible to northface. its super warm and i got it for 15 euro!! i'm really excited about it...
anyway, i'm just going on and on with nothing important to say. maybe i'll have a more in depth post later in the week.
goodbye now, now goodbye.
