Tomorrow (actually, later today, but whatever) Jessica, Keith, Matt, and I are going to O'Hare to pick up Marianne.  We're not leaving 'til 11:30, so hopefully I'll have time to pick up my schedule and return some stuff at the Gap before going; otherwise, I won't know when I work on Sunday until Sunday.  If it's not too late when we get back from ( Read more... )

You commented previously that Wash U seems like the school you "should have gone to." So you'd rather have gone to undergrad w/fat chicks and skinny dorks in Star Wars shirts than wherever it was that you went? Um... ok. To each his own. I find that most girls are actually anorexically thin; and the majority of guys on campus are unfortunately under the impression that pink polos are cool, and even cooler when they pop the collar (triple bonus points for layering polos).

And I'm impressed that you actually ran into a kid who thinks that Bush doesn't totally suck, considering that 98.7% (that's a rough estimate) of this campus is infested w/liberal idiots who support their positions w/economic fallacies. I wish I could randomly run into people like that who can think for themselves... maybe then I wouldn't abhor Wash U as much as I do. But I doubt it, b/c I'm a pretty superficial person.

I prefer Chicago, but Stl is alright. Definitely doesn't blow, anyway. Delmar is freakin sweet. And Clayton is great for shopping and eating, two of my favorite activities.

And thanks for the early bday wish. I'm looking forward to the "big-ass" post...

"i went to a wash u party once".... notice how i said "once."

that one party i went to was what i wrote about... not what i feel is the general feel or demographic of the campus. you posted about how wash u parties sucked. i was giving you an anecdote of what the party i went to was like, thus giving credence to your claim.

the reason i wish i went to wash u is because it feels kinda like being back home and/pr are into the same stuff i'm all about. smart kids who are into geeky things
and are from a well-off area. much different than western kentucky university, which is quite the opposite of everything i just mentioned (idiots who are into drinking on a nightly basis and come from the sticks - where everyone shops at a walmart for everything).

i agree with you that buttholes who pop their collars and wear pink polos are the pinnacle of creambaggery.

it's funny that you incinuate that right-wingers think for themselves ;) good one

what i also find funny is your constant need for conflict. calm down. you dont have anything to prove to me... it's not like i think you're inferior or anything. i think you're mistaking my friendliness with confrontation or something...

Dude, seriously, I'm not sure what you qualified as trying to provoke conflict in that last comment, but whatev. I think you're mistaking the condescending tone I frequently use w/people who haven't earned my respect for a weak attempt at instigation.

And why are you so defensive about going to a WU party? Wtf, man, settle... I was just questioning your judgement, seeing as you wish you'd gone to a school full of fat lameasses who wear Star Wars shirts. But as I stated, to each his own. I realize that not everyone is as superficial as I.

Brush up on your reading comprehension (uh, and spelling) skills, and then maybe you can try to accuse me of wanting to create conflict w/someone like you.

MY reading comprehension? MY spelling skills? haha, that's funny :) i misspelled "insinuate" in the early morning hours and suddenly, i'm illiterate. nice. by the way, look through a couple of your posts from a while back... i've seen quite a few spelling errors.

as for reading comprehension, quit projecting. AGAIN you're saying that i called wash u "a school full of fat lameasses and who wear star wars shirts (great grammar, by the way... schools can't wear shirts)." like i said before, that was just the demographic of the ONLY part i'd gone to. not what i feel is the demographic of the school, in general.

you hardly have anything about which to be condescending. that's probably why i mistook your tone.

i don't want to waste my time and energy fighting with someone. i don't have some kind of inferiority complex. maybe your parents were divorced as a kid and that's why you're so superficial and condescending (and proud about it). i don't know. all i know is that i just wanted to talk with someone i thought would be interesting... not someone who would try fighting about shit or try and belittle or reject those who're just trying to be their friend.

dispite the lesion of the friendliness nucleus in your caudal pons, i hope you have a totally awesome birthday :) go out and get yours!

No, I don't have an inferiority complex (as you implied); and I'm not proud of being superficial -- I just see nothing wrong w/it, and I hardly think it's anything I should be ashamed of. And I highly doubt that you've found "quite a few" spelling errors; whereas I have noticed that you consistently spell things incorrectly ("dispite" is sooo not a word). And how about making sure you don't switch from a singular to a plural pronoun in the same sentence (someone tried to belittle those trying to become their friend? innnteresting...)? And whoa, I made one glaringly obvious grammatical error that my four-year-old cousin could point out, but hey, man -- whatever it takes to make you feel intelligent. Anyway, I need to go get my ego stroked... you know, the inferiority complex and everything. Sorry, I'm just not down w/the whole "online friendship" thing; and yes, I do automatically reject anyone who tries to "meet" me online. Is that something close-minded that I should get over? Probably. I just can't get past the idea of those freaky kids who can't meet people in real life, so they have to resort to the internet. Nothing personal, ya know. Thanks for the bday wish... happy early bday to you, whenever yours is (No, seriously... I'm actually not being sarcastic or bitchy. For once. I know.)!

thanks for pointing out the "dispite" thing. i've always had a problem with that.

improper pronoun usage in mid-sentence? where? "... someone who would try fighting about shit or try and belittle or reject those who're just trying to be their friend" is grammatically correct.

as for your misspellings, they were correctly spelled - just the wrong word. i'm not about to go back and find them, though. it really isn't important.

you should learn to use periods or semicolons more often. you're improperly using commas in your posts and replies.

i know i'm no english major. as a matter of fact, i'm captain dyslexia and the mayor of a.d.d.ville. however, i feel that when it comes to english, i'm better than average. actually, my sat and act score reflected that same notion.

i don't need to reaffirm the fact that i've got a good head on my shoulders. i'm already confident with my iq and personality.

i wasn't trying to MEET you (not only because i'm not your type, but because you don't seem like you'd be fun to hang out with. also, i'm not exactly into going out of my way and wasting my time to create some kind of confrontation. call me crazy). i was only trying to find someone to talk to.

why don't you just calm the hell down and try to be civil towards people? why is that so hard?

now i understand why i don't see anyone else, besides me, posting comments.

and this is what I get for taking YOUR word about what I wrote! eebie428 August 9 2005, 16:11:21 UTC
Sheesh... ok, so I wrote, "So you'd rather have gone to undergrad w/fat chicks and skinny dorks in Star Wars shirts than wherever it was that you went?" You actually QUOTED me as writing "'a school full of fat lameasses and who wear star wars shirts...'" And then you quoted more stuff that shouldn't have been inside the quotations, but that is neither here, nor there. Anyway, that was cheap. Wtf. I knew there was something up w/that b/c there was NO way I would have thrown that "and" in there like that... and w/out the "and," the sentence is grammatically correct. Schools can't wear shirts, but guess who can... lameasses!

And yes, this was an even more unnecessary response than my last comment, but quoting someone as using incorrect grammar is pretty much fraudulent. Slight exaggeration, but still... now we're resorting to lies to try to make me look bad?? That is whack (you know, like crack).

i'm not trying to make you look bad. it's just that i'm getting aggravated with your unfounded and blatant unkindness. i never said shit, but you feel it necessary to try rejecting me. if you honestly don't want me to post in your journal, why not just ban me? it takes way less energy than sitting there trying to push me away by being a bitch.
