so, against rachel's best attempts at disabling, i ended up doing some retail therapy, which involved a bunch of things that will go to the store, and this glorious footwear: ( glorious, I tell you )
They're incredibly scary and I would never wear them even if it meant I had to go barefoot. You should keep them and leave them in a really obvious place at your place so all the visits see them.
The best part of Japan is that YOU CAN TOTALLY WORK SHOES AND COLOR LIKE THAT and no one bats an eye. It's great. I look at my closet with Japan stuff now and I don't think I can make it out the door with some of them lulz
Aww, just wear it! Don't let living in a country full of normal people get you down!!! (wait, are you back in the states? because I don't think that counts as "normal people"...)
Awesome. I wanna go to Canada...I could eat maple syrup out of trees and ride reindeer or whatever it is you guys do up there :P I am usually quite casual! So I don't actually know what I would wear hot pink cowboyboots with. But then again, it's Japan, so you can wear anything with anything and it equally doesn't match people who have carefully chosen outfits from their favorite magazines. :Db
