Suntori "KARORI" is -diet- chu-hi, meaning you can drink twice as many of them! And now they have a bunch of "vegemix," like Apple+Tomato or grapefruit carrot or some other abomination. If I wanted V8, I would've had a shot of tequila. I'm not certain exactly how that works, but trust me, it does.

I really do wish I could get something along the lines of chu-hi over here in the states. I'm no big fan of beer, and the closest American analogs -- your Smirnoff Ices and whatnot -- have this foul sickly sweetness and too-thick consistency to them that I can't stand. It's like drinking slightly fizzy spiked pancake syrup.

Plus they don't come in, like, pineapple flavor.

I guess there is not the same kick for light wine coolers like there is here? (0 sugar chu-hi and beer is really big this summer. I don't know that it tastes all that great, though...)
