Sometimes I wonder why I do theatre, and what the hell I am doing with my life. And then I have a class like I just had, and I realize why. I am in love with Mary Poole, the instructor of my Theatre in Context class. She asked us to write down three words that expressed why we do theatre, and when someone put down "magic" she just looked at them and said, "Magic? Magic? Come on, what does that even mean?" It was wonderful. I love this lady. She also yelled at me when, apparently, I furrowed my brow at her when she asked why we sit in a circle: "Don't squint your face at me! You shouldn't think that hard: so that everone can see everyone's communicative faces."

That 5 second interaction just summed up my entire personality.

I'm kind of in love with this quarter/Northwestern.
