I'm having a semi sureal experience right now. I'm at a cafe that I frequent alot, and walked into a theme night - pirates vs ninjas. It sure is loud, though I don't mind it. Well, there's music, which I don't mind, but the fact that its loud means music is drouned out. I kind of hope some of them go home, but the females can stay at least, lol.
Earlier today I had sushi with someone I just met online. Fascinating woman actuallly, very intelligent. Not really a whole lot to say there, heh. Anyways, its kind of nice to add someone new to my cue of deep thought friends.
While I was waiting for her, I walked up to powell's and found myself in the philosophy section clutching a copy of some of the more definiate Emanuel Kant essays. Then I wandered down to the blue room, snagged a copy of Date's "In Puratory." I don't know why, but of the divine comedy, I've only read Inferno. Maybe just because you know, reading about hell is cool and what not. And I don't really buy the idea of purgatory, so...
