Author's Notes: My second fanfic! I hope you enjoy! Please comment! <----That is the info for the first Alice fanfic.

I sat on the bed in my room and buried my head in my hands. The vision I just had shocked me. I never thought it would’ve happened, but after last night, I suppose it wasn’t much of a surprise. Edward can be impossible sometimes! I planned on talking to him when he got back from hunting with Emmett.

I heard the door open downstairs and their footsteps. I waited until I heard Edward come up the stairs. I had taken it upon myself to learn the sound of each of my family member’s footsteps.

I opened my door. "Edward, can I talk to you?"

He looked at me intently trying to read my mind. I gave him a fleeting smile and focused on something completely different. I wasn’t going to give him the upper hand. He saw I wasn’t giving in, and nodded. "Sure Alice."

He entered the room and I turned to face him. "What the hell is wrong with you?" I demanded cutting to the chase.

His expression darkened. "I should’ve known you have seen my choice."

"I’m glad I did. Edward, how can you think of doing that to her!? It’s no one’s fault. Not hers. Not Jasper’s. Not yours. What makes you think this will improve anything? It’ll make things worse!" I took a breath and waited for him to respond.

"It’s for her own good. First it was James. As if that wasn’t bad enough, nearly losing her to a complete stranger. But then when Jasper nearly attacked her, that was worse. My own family! My own family almost hurt her! No Alice. My choice is mine to make."

I scowled. "And this will make things better how?"

He answered smoothly, as though he had thought this out. Then again, I told myself, Edward was like that. He over-thinks everything. "She’ll be safe. She can live a normal human life. She’ll be happy."

I growled slightly. "Oh yes Edward. She’s not happy with you," I scoffed. "Dammit Edward! You’re everything to her! She’s everything to you! How the hell do you expect her to move on!? How do you expect to?!"

He glared at me. "I won’t forget, but she will. In time she will," he said softly. To me, it seemed as though he was trying to convince himself.

"And you’re so sure?"

He looked at me and sighed. "I have to be,"he said quietly. "I have to be where Bella is concerned."

I opened my mouth to object, but we heard more footsteps. "Carlisle," Edward murmured. He jumped up and I heard him talk to Carlisle. I heard Carlisle invite Edward into his office and sighed. So it was settled. Edward would ask Carlisle for us to leave and I knew Carlisle would agree. He always said anything concerning Bella was Edward’s choice. Not that I agreed with that. I loved Bella like a sister.

Jasper came in and sat by me. "What’s wrong?"

I sighed and looked at him. "We’re leaving,"was my reply.

He nodded. This was why I loved Jasper. It took few words to explain anything to him.

"Oh Jasper, I don’t want to leave! I can’t believe he’s going to do this to Bella."

Jasper looked at the floor. "It’s my fault. If I hadn’t...,"

"No," I said firmly. "No, it wasn’t your fault. It could happen to anyone. Bella doesn’t blame you. Edward doesn’t even blame you. I don’t blame you. No one does. So, get that thought out of your head."

He smiled weakly at me. "I love you," he said.

I looked at him fiercely. "I love you too. I’d be nothing without you."

He smiled and kissed me softly, his kisses like sugar. We broke apart and stared out the window and watched the sunset. In that quiet moment, I was closer to him than I had ever been.

I sighed and looked at the bags by the door. I had everything I needed which basically was clothes. I didn’t want to leave Forks. I was more at home here than anywhere else. And Edward knew it. But his stubbornness and pessimism clouded his thoughts and now he insisted we all leave. "It’s for Bella," he insisted.

I snorted derisively. "Sure Edward. Some help our leaving will do. Bella loves you and I don’t this will do anything helpful. You don’t go back to a normal life after dating a vampire and spending time with his family,"I muttered to no one in particular.

"Alice? Alice are you ready?" Jasper walked through the door, hands in his pockets.

I sighed again. "Yes, I’m ready." I didn’t move though. I walked over to my dresser and pulled out a photo album. Inside were pictures of this house, my family, and Edward and Bella. I took most of them when they weren’t aware of it. I remembered when I snapped a picture of Rose with a comb stuck in her hair. That memory made me smile slightly.

Jasper came and looked at the album over my shoulder. He grinned at Rose’s picture. "I remember she threw a huge hissy fit when that happened. I couldn’t get her to calm down."

I chuckled. "And when you tried to calm her down, she threw a bottle of hair spray at you."

He grinned. "Good thing her aim was off. I would’ve smelled like lavender for a week if it hit me."

I smiled and turned the page. My smile faded quickly. Edward and Bella stood in the picture by the piano. Edward had his arms around her waist, and hers were around his neck. They were looking at each other with such passion and love, that I wanted to go and scream at Edward. I wanted to shove the photo in his face and demand why he wanted to throw all of it away.

I choked back a sob and slammed the album shut. I had grown to love Bella as a sister. She was klutzy, but that made her funny and her human reactions to certain things were enough to make me laugh hysterically for long periods of time or break out laughing at mentions of them.

Jasper put his hand on my shoulder and kissed the top of my head. I knew he sensed my pain. I knew mine was nothing compared to Edward’s though. The difference in those pictures were shocking.

Edward’s eyes had been alive and burned with love the rest of us shared with our companions. He was the happiest and most alive he had been in about a hundred years. Now his eyes were cold and indifferent; trying to hide his emotions. But I wasn’t stupid. Despite his brave and uncaring act, I knew he was hurting like hell.

I picked up my bags and walked to the door with Jasper by my side. All of us were leaving except Edward who was leaving tomorrow after saying bye to Bella.

Everyone was in front of the house. Rose and Emmett were going to Spain, Esme and Carlisle were going to Canada but would be in Alaska with Jasper and I soon, and Edward, no one knew where the hell he was going. He never said anything. He only said he would check in every now and then.

We exchanged tearful good-byes, though without tears since we couldn’t cry but if we could, we would.

After our good-byes were said, I hopped into the Mercedes with Carlisle and Esme. They would leave as at the airport.

I waved good-bye to my family out the window and I closed my eyes and leaned my head against the seat. I didn’t know when I would see them again. Jasper put his hand over mine and squeezed it gently. I smiled and looked at him. I kissed him softly and leaned my head on his shoulder.

"This is it then," I sighed.

"This is it," he agreed.

We were silent the rest of the way, but even though I was hurting from leaving the town and people I loved, as long as I had Jasper, I would be content.
