idk mang, I'm not feelin' the jive, yannow? can't really do the arts lately. damned artblock
Plus, I've been kind of angsting over my art. I'm proud of it, I know I've improved a lot since I really began to take it seriously (whatever) but I'm still not happy with it. I don't know if it's my style or just the overall quality of it, but I'm kind of tired of it. I know I shouldn't give up now, and that in order to be happy with it I must keep going, but I am not satisfied. Maybe it is my eyes, maybe I just can't see it right. I feel like I have to try a lot harder lately to make it turn out like I want it to lately. I've got a lot of ideas I want to do, but I never play them out to the full potential because I hate it so much.
I guess I should hit the books again and do some more figure studies and lern how 2 do anglez and anatomies golly gee
I bought the "Making Comics" book by Scott McCloud last week, it kind of helped but kind of agitated the art block. xD
There's a lot more I have to learn about comics, and art in general. I'm glad so many of the themes he talks about can be carried over into other art forms.
