One of those days, in the kitchen

Jun 23, 2010 17:48

It's a clean-out-the-cupboards kind of dinner tonight: frozen breaded white fish from Trader Joe's served with homemade potato salad of use-'em-up-before-they-go-bad yellow- and red-skinned potatoes, hard-boiled eggs, celery, grated onion, sweet pickle relish, Dijon mustard, mayo, salt & pepper. Also, an improvised salad of romaine lettuce, julienned, and tossed with orange segments and canned beets, in a dressing of olive oil, red wine vinegar, Feta cheese, fresh minced garlic, a few capers, a little orange zest, salt and freshly-ground black pepper.

I shall report back and let y'all know if we die.
