I'm not crazy about her music, but do like her voice/style (hm, I have the same feeling about Amy Winehouse, and for the same reason), because she doesn't sound like all the rest of the pop tarts.

It's true that the topics she covers are not so very relatable for me. Thus prompting my comparison to Avril Lavigne. But I do like her voice and the bit of self-mockery she has about the whole girl pop-singer thing. Almost like she's a walking piece of satirical performance art. Perhaps I'm just seeing something that's not there, at least not intentionally.
