It really has been a beautiful day today. We're in a nice period right now, before the temperatures soar, as they customarily will, to over 100 degrees. Today was in the mid-80's, warm but with a gentle, caressing breeze. My nights have been temperate as well. I will be grateful for this as long as it keeps up.
In other news: it is beginning to look like hiring movers would be no more expensive than renting a U-Haul would be, for the period of time we'd need it to do the move ourselves. I'm going to do some more checking, but if the current info I have stands up to a fact-checking mission, damn. I'll definitely be happy to let someone else do the heavy lifting.
Life is going to be so much easier when we live in a place that costs less than one of my two monthly checks, instead of all of one and some of the other. *dreamy sigh*
