Normally I don't go in for making much over the deaths of celebrities. I'll admit, when I initially heard Heath Ledger was cast as The Joker, my response was, Whaaaaaaaa? I don't get it. But, the trailers for The Dark Knight look amazing. And I hear the early reviews are pretty impressive as well. Now that I see where he went with it, it looks like the best Joker ever, and I regret having doubted him. Unless they've shown us all the best bits in the trailer, (or perhaps, even if they have), I think that The Dark Knight is going to be a fitting final monument to Ledger's one-of-a-kind talent. One that will always remind us of what we've lost.
On the lighter side: God help me, the more I see the trailer, the more
Mamma Mia! is growing on me.
