(no subject)
I am off today. I worked supervisor hours all week and then filled in last night at the biggest no-action post we have - it was almost like a paid vacation: I read all night. I need more than one popcorn novel for an 8 hour shift of nothing - I chose a vampire theme with the first Anita Blake volume by Laurell K. Hamilton, and Sunshine by Robin McKinley. They lasted me, even if my iPod did not, (I forgot to charge it).
Anyway, I'm home with nothing pressing to do, (I've been pondering the possibility of playing Sims 2 for about an hour or so, but aparently I'm too lazy even to govern the lives of electronic people), and Jimmy's at work for hours yet.
And there's a chilled bottle of my favorite cheap-o soda-pop champagne in the fridge.
I think maybe I'll go have a closer look at it and see if anything develops ...
