Well, that's a freaking relief!
I just got off the phone with Jimmy. He's in the last hour of his twelve hour work day at the dealership. This is his second day and he's sold three cars already. After being warned he might not sell any for the first few weeks. In fact, he's sold the most cars of anyone at the dealership today, and if he can keep it up tomorrow, he'll be eligible for a pretty nice weekend performance bonus!
The good thing about these bonuses is, they are paid the same month you earn them. I always thought he could do really, really well on a quick-turnaround bonus structure like that. Even so. I was afraid he wouldn't like it. I was afraid he wouldn't think he could make good money. But, he just had to hang up because he had another customer.
