Culinary pretensions? NOT.

Breakfast: the children got oatmeal. I had a large glass of vitamin-enriched OJ, and seven slugs of mangosteen juice. And a chewable vitamin C. At a later time, when I was starting to feel severely underpowered, I had two slices of whole wheat toast, one with peanut butter and sliced banana, the other plain.

Lunch: Selah and I just enjoyed some pasta with creamy pesto sauce. The sauce was made from a packet, I confess. And covered with as much salty, Kraft-brand parmesan cheese as it would hold. Mmmmm!

Don't know what it is about being sick that gets me craving the starches.
