Sometimes I just get lucky...
So, one of the things I have not been able to get my hands on is a copy of Out of the Darkness: The Reality of S & M - the damn thing is impossible to find.
So I take the opportunity to walk up to Hardy Haberman as he was sitting down, explained who I was, why I wanted a copy, and if he knew where I could get one.
I mean, who better to ask?
He looks up at me, says I'm lucky, and reaches into his briefcase. Then he hands me a hand-lettered DVD-R - he'd just burned a copy that morning. He apologized that it didn't have a menu or chapters, it's "just" the documentary as a straight, very-no-frills DVD.
How cool is that!?!
