Surgery Report
For those of you who have not yet heard, I had sinus surgery Monday. So far the recovery has been both uneventful and comfortable.
This was the latest in a string of efforts dating back to 2005 to try and eliminate an asthmatic cough: predecessors which have produced incomplete improvement include deviate septum correction (a far more annoying surgery), a fairly restrictive diet, and multiple courses of steroids and assorted other medication shifts.
We know from CAT scans that I have had chronic sinus infections for more than three months, and less than three years.
With luck, this will turn out to be the magic bullet. Failing that, it should provide some general improvement.
