(gets off plane, totally exhausted and embarassed at all of the stares her bruised face and rope burned neck are getting)

(to flight attendant) Thank you.

(looks around for Edward, but can't see him)

*rushes through the airport doors and spots Amanda, prepping himself to see her injuries*

(sees him finally, breathes sigh of relief)

Edward.

[edward_grey]

*winces slightly, but hugs her upon reaching her*

[apandaamanda]

*hugs him as tight as her injuries will allow, looks up into his eyes*

Oh, I am so glad to see you.

*smiles* I'm so glad to see you as well.

(smiles wearily)

Could we get out of here? I...am really...

*nods* Of course. Come on.

(shyly takes his arm for support)

(gets in car slowly and painfully)

It is beautiful out today.

(self conciously puts hand on her throat to hide rope marks)

*closes her door, then gets in and starts the car*

Don't ... *pauses and pulls out* Don't hide it.

(embarrassed)

It looks awful. You should have seen how people stared on the plane.

I don't care. You have nothing to be embarrassed about.

Besides, I like bruises.
