What is a typical day for you?I wake up around five in the morning, eat breakfast, perhaps run on the treadmill, then shower. I leave for work by seven at the latest, then work until noon when I break for lunch. Client meetings are usually left until the afternoon, so I may have one or two after lunch. Depending on the work load I leave the ( Read more... )

Edward, I wanted to check if Tuesday would be acceptable for our appointment. I am also free Wednesday. Please advise me if either of those days are possible for you. Thank you so much.

Not at all. A reason to get away is always nice.

I was hoping that you might be able to assist me with some legal matters.

One of them is a local matter, the others are personal legal issues.

*nods* Certainly.

First, simple things....

*hands him papers*

I need my will drafted. It is fairly simple, even with the amount of money involved. I have no family, save for an ex-husband that I pay a ridiculous amount of alimony to. The bequests are largely to friends and to charity.

I need to set up a trust for a child. It needs to be sufficient to provide an adequate amount of money for living expenses until college, and to cover all educational needs. The principal would revert to the child on her 25th birthday.

*hands him more documents*
This is the information on the child and the guardians. It is very important that my identity not be revealed. I assume that you can establish some kind of dummy name or holding to do this?

*nods again, looking at the papers*

Of course.

Great. I knew that you were the right person to call.

Finally, I want to give away my father's estate, on the island. It is a hideous tomb of an estate. I have been trying to sell the monstrosity for years. I thought about donating it for a homeless shelter or a rehab, but given the elite neighbors, I doubt if that would fly.

Any suggestions?

*laughs softly* A rehab facility for celebrities? I'm sure the elite neighbours would thoroughly enjoy that.
