Resolution 8.9
Preambulatory Clauses:

1) Recognizing the traditionally accepted systems of comunication, relating, progression (temporal or otherwise), in short all metaphysical views - all, even those hiding in the corner there,

2) Affirming that it is not without good cause that such systems held powerful sway over the lives of human beings since time immemorial, the swag that only one of the many systems called to take the stage now is indeed staggering,

3) Noting with zest that it is perhaps a rather diseased mind that takes up such a pursuit in such a manner,

4) Acknowledging the prevalent notions of self-determination of a people,

1)Resolves to remain seized on the issue;

I've lost the will to continue that.
As I find myself strained by the blank sheet in front of me to find some notion of Self to pin down in front of a mirror or under a microscope I have come to accept my nonidentity. Though it is hazardous and senseless to take up this sort of a battle, this bitchy little moral victory, against a paradigm far past its prime.
As a consequence of my new background, it has been a vertiginous summer. The sky of my summer, Stygian, the garnishes of action, unctuous, the action, seldom. I find my reality, like so many adolescent kouroi, planted constantly beyond my immediate capabilities.

The nights here provoke an impatience. A tower of wax stands in front of you, and you feel a need to tear it up to find a pearl lodged somewhere within. But the wax is Descartes'; it melts and becomes liquid and then a dream. I think that this urge turns to other urges easily, a need to destroy this impatience, through the loss of consciousness, violence, love, prayer, it's all the same manifestation of nonidentity.

I think Kafka said that there are really only two sins, Forgetfulness and Impatience. That we lost paradise through forgetfulness and we don't return due to impatience. Though "forgetfulness" may be different in the text itself...

so this is one of many distortions caused by a lack of ease - the same impulse that drives metaphysical thought, the foundations of which (now exposed) were the initial focus of this bizarre treatise - a lack that denies us the gift of silence and peace in our thoughts...and on our livejournals
