Nothing much happened on Monday, but Caoimhe got a decent grade. The sandcastle-building paid off.
The kids don't really get on amazingly well.
Saoirse grows up (a bit)!
I think this family is incapable of producing weird looking children.
They're really, really low on money, so Caolan took a full-time job in the cookery career since I am too lazy to actually play the restaurant and work out how to fix weird uniform face glitch.
Kit's OTH is Tinkering, so he gets a robot station. Hopefully he'll open a robot shop at some point.
And Kit's robot station took over the hut which used to house the veg shop, since there will be nobody to man the shop now that Caolan and Celandine both have proper jobs. Honestly, they can't really afford to make robots. They haven't got enough space for all the children, and haven't enough money to pay their taxes (also due to the massive brood of sproglets).
Maybe Tristan can sell something.
Still adorable as an old dude!
Digging about for stuff to sell.
Is it sad that this was actually pretty useful?
Hurrah!
Caolan is, understandably, really stressed out about their doshlessness.
It gets to be a bit too much for him.
I made him skill to take his mind off things. It worked for a while.
Fourth birthday!
And the fourth birthday of the week!
Swoon. I overuse that eyeliner. Can you blame me?
Using his mechanical skills to help out his sister, whose OTH is music.
Tristan daydreams with a stray cat he found, like a true bohemian.
Too cute. A bit spamtacular, too.
Celandine starts writing a novel in the hopes that it'll bring some money in.
And Saoirse skills with sandcastles since I still can't afford to get her any proper skilling items.
I can't say it was unexpected, since he was stressed out his nut, but it's still so sad to see him go. He was lovely. The insurance payouts really helped the financial situation, though. Bit of a cruel irony there.
Caoimhe is not the type to receive comfort, however well-intentioned...
Caolan gets a temporary grave on the beach.
Everything is going wrong for Tristan!
Mechanical is maxed, following in his mother's footsteps. He'll be building a robot army in no time.
That grave will have to move ASAP.
I built a cemetery for him on the north island. It has a small mausoleum for each founding family, the largest of which is the Butterworth-Almstedts' at the back. A graveyard will be added at the front when the need arises. There's plenty of room, I hope.
Tristan builds sandcastles, like he did when he was a child, to take his mind off things.
And Celandine sleeps alone for the first time in quite a while.
