Shizzle
I've decided officially that I'm not going to go to pharmacy school. All of my experiences in the hospital and in retail pharmacy have gotten me to realize that trying to go into a career solely for the money is a bad idea. Right now I'm working with my friend Justin to get a research position with the University of Miami in their genomics department. As of a couple weeks ago, they just got one of the largest grants ever given to a state university. (Roughly 700 million dollars.) They also have plans to take the title as the leading university for biomedical research. Apparently, UM has just recruited about half of Duke University's best scientists. If I get the job, I'll be extremely happy to have the opportunity to work among these professors and possibly develop a career with UM.
Natalie is going to be in Miami for a couple of weeks so that kicks major ass because now I can hang out with her a lot more. We just went to Churchill's over near Hialeah to see my friend Julie before she moves out to CA. The other night we also went to a place called Bougainvilla's for her friend's graduation party. Dave Barry's son was there which is pretty awesome cause I'm a huge fan of Barry's writing.
I also got this funny writing assignment from one of the patients which I'll designate RS because of confidentiality laws and such.

I've also had this crazy desire to sculpt things recently. I will definitely be heading to the art supply store soon to pick up some plaster and whatever else I need to finish the jobbbbb.
