I love the summer!
I had a great vacation! I left DC on June 13th. I drove down to see my family in Florida, stopping in Atlanta along the way. I spent a week and a half in Florida, then drove back to Atlanta for my birthday. I got back into DC a few days ago. It was a great trip, but I was really happy to get back home. I was quite homesick for DC.
I had a few days to get comfortable back at home, and now I'm off to NYC for the weekend. I'm on the bus right now, making our way along the New Jersey Turnpike. I'm bored and have already done all the Facebooking I can do. The guy in front of me has The Economist. Grrrr, I want it. Can't wait to see some fireworks tonight! Happy 4th!
