Hello hello!
Hey everyone! I'm not sure how often this community is actually used but I thought I'd introduce myself anyway. I've just moved in with my parents after finishing my B.Sc. in another city. I've looked for a job in my field (environmental science) for a while, but I'm not having any luck, or perhaps I'm looking in all the wrong places. So far I've seen a lot of management and senior positions that I have no chance at. Where the entry-level positions at?!
Anyway, I'm extremely bored these days because... Well, you know... Unemployment usually means you're not doing much of anything every day (unless you have money somehow). I've applied to some retail positions recently, which I'll probably end up working at for a while. Hopefully my hate for other people judging me will stop me from being a lifer in retail. Not that there's anything inherently wrong with retail, it's just that it has got nothing to do with my degree, which costed me tens of thousands of dollars (which I now owe back to the government, wahoo!).
I've been passing the time with Harry Potter books these days (when I'm not job hunting of course). They're actually a lot better than I thought they would be.
