this made my day

My father and I had a really interesting discussion about religion and ideology today. I love how my dad respects my beliefs and opinions, and encourages me to think for myself. He's a staunch conservative republician and my point of view is about as far as one can get from that, but we do find some common ground and I like hearing my dad's reasoning. It seems flawed to me, but he's an intelligent man and I totally respect him.

Discussing topics I'm knowledgeable about in depth is always refreshing to me. I constantly feel lonely (that's an understatement) because what I study and feel, most of what I'm interested in, are things that almost nobody else seems to care about or empathize with.

My car is in the shop. I don't mind; I have no problem walking places in any weather. I enjoy being outside. Yesterday I walked a mile and a half to take the train to school and back, and it was very nice. I took lots of pictures and enjoyed the fresh air.
