long weekend.
let's see.
friday was the eric and the floaters/pcc show. emily was supposed to show up with her friend, nate, but she didn't. woody did, though, and i guess that's all that matters. eatf destroyed! nothing but local covers, amazing! pcc had some technical difficulties at first, but when they played, they ruled. patrick jumped on my neck and almost hurt people. good show.
i didn't watch slaughterhouse 6, as i don't like the crowd they attract, or should i say, bring with them. it's their friends and classmates, which is pretty lame to me. and they destroyed a stuffed animal, making a big mess. they had to clean it before the red hot valentines played. i got bored of waiting, so i bought a couple red hot valentines cds and went home to bed.
saturday, i woke up and went on a HUGE bike ride. i did my normal bike ride and then decided to ride to the art center. it was awesome. so much exercise.
then we did food not bombs. we didn't have any donations and not much money, so we decided to hand out ice cream cones. there weren't very many people there, but it was fun. so i have a lot of ice cream left over. so if anyone wants an ice cream cone, come to my place. seriously.
saturday night was interesting. it was the mutts/hudson falcons show.
the show was really good. i got to hang out with some really cool people, elissa, chet, megan, joe, brian, matt, josh, blah blah blah. after the show, matt and i hung out at mary's for a while, waiting for kristin. when kristin showed up, she drank some booze really fast. we then drove to the house of no name. we drank some 40s for a while. emily called and said she was coming over, and then in two minutes of talking to me, decided not to. haha. so i didn't have a ride home. so matt, also heading the same way, and i walked home. in the POURING RAIN!!! it was awful and fun at the same time.
sunday, i went to my mom's like normal. later in the evening, jim came over. we went to riemans to find emily. after some running around and whatnot, we went to eat at the drake diner. good.
we then went on a bike ride and ended up at lacie and kitty's. emily went through their photos and took some.
lacie, tyler, bridgette, and kitty are all gone now. moved to eugene.
emily and i went to her place and had a really really long talk. which i guess is good. we talked about the band and people and grahm and four on the floor. and other stuff.
and finally, yesterday, we had a small band practice. ej, emily, and i. we actually got some stuff accomplished. it was amazing. and fun.
then we watched some ben stiller, made a pizza, jim showed up, we went on a walk, i took a bath while emily took a nap, and a whole bunch of fun stuff.
i went to the best place ever and watch some Disinformation. it was amazing!!!! i am going to rent it wednesday.
emily and i are going to go to iowa city in the next month. we're going to drive there and camp out. it should rule. and we might be going to a show in omaha just to have an excuse to visit the omaha zoo.
so fun. fun.
