It's been a while since I typed up anything on here, right?
Maybe some explanation is in order, lemme see...
Firstly, I stopped writing when I headed home for the summer, because, well, I never really feel like writing on this when I'm home. I'm always content, satisfied or happy, despite being in almost an identical situation to what I'm in when I'm in Wellington.
And since I got back down, I just haven't really felt like writing, what more is there to say that I haven't already said before.
Truth be told, the first 10 or 11 weeks here weren't as bad as they have been. But as per usual, Wellington is helping serve up a large dose of mundane and miserable into my life.
I think the main reasons are boredom and loneliness, thats it. When I'm around people, or doing something that isn't sitting on my arse and staring at a screen I'm quite happy, but after prolonged periods of isolation and inactivity my head runs out of things to think about, becomes depressed, and forces me into the comfortable routine of feeling sorry for myself.
And contrary to popular belief, I do try to get out there and do stuff. But it becomes difficult to participate in activities when your sick, have no money, and one of your legs screams for mercy when you start running. Oh, and the majority of people you know would rather not know you.
Up North I have no problem with seclusion and isolation. I actually thrive on it. I'd do a bit of farm work, babysit, go fishing, hunting, go for runs, bike rides, and a few other things. Down here, the only things to do otherwise involve money or the outdoors. If you don't have money, then you are stuck with the outdoors. And in Wellington, the outdoors are usually cold, wet and windy.
People ask: why don't you just get a job? Easier said than done. A lot easier. You know its a bad time to look for a part time job when Pak'n'Save requires you to concur to their hours, rather than them be accepting that you could be seeking an education higher than packing bags and stacking shelves.
Oh, and don't even get me started on the damn situation with those stinkin' females. As bad as always, nothing changed there.
So, is that a pretty alright entry. I'll see you next year.
Ciao.
