So its been a while since I updated, and I figured I would try and hit some high notes.
The baby is coming along nicely and growing like a weed. He is walking on his own, eating table food, and pretty much becoming more and more a little boy, as opposed to a baby. On the one hand, I'm pretty proud of the little guy for all that he has worked to accomplish. And yes, he worked very hard at learning to walk. On the other, I see pictures still saved on the computer of when he was tiny tiny, and I get a little sad that I can't just hold him all day like I used to. I mean, he still lets me hold him. Sometimes he demands holding as his birthright.... But he's mobile now. He's got places to go and toys to play with. Eventually he squirms out of my grasp. So I just hold him when I can, and try to burn it in memory. Now we are trying some sleep training to help him sleep through the night. Basically, I'm expecting some sleepless nights coming up.
The blue car is still in the CVS parking lot. Yeah. I'm as shocked and amazed as you are.
Flogging Molly was awesome in concert. A++++ Would see again!
Freebird's is what it is. And what it is, is expanding rapidly. The Bunker Hill location is open, and they are opening another at the end of the month. So this means they need managers. Guess who they picked to be one? Yup. I only agreed to do it because of the raise, and because they said I could keep my 25 hour schedule and limited availability. But hey, more money is always appreciated.
We are now in the beginning stages of the home buying process. And by that, I mean we are going to find out why we probably can't get a mortgage now, and how we fix that.
I have opened a Twitter account. Honestly, I see myself updating Twitter far more often than LJ, if only because I don't feel the need to make long ass posts on Twitter. And the fact that I can Twitter from my phone rocks my socks off. Literally. I'm not wearing socks right now, as they have been rocked off.
