I had a whole trip report typed out about Ann's visit, and then LJ ATE IT BECAUSE A MILLION POINTS FROM LIVEJOURNAL'S FACE. So you will have to be satisfied with the super-condensed version of "it was a lovely visit and I'm very pleased that we found enough stuff to do because I never think there's anything to do here also HURRAH MEDIEVAL FAIRE WITH ANN."
I am considering doing the 100 Things Meme, but I've no idea what category I'd choose, so probably I will just remain considering it. I could write 100 Character Interpretations, but I definitely do not have that kind of time.
Since season three Justified had the unmitigated gall to end, I have mainlined the first season of Downton Abbey in about 2.5 days after work staying up inadvisably late and on my lunch break and have moved on to season two. Much as I get sulky about the short, short TV show seasons in the UK, it does make it a lot easier to get caught up on a show in no time. Also SAM TYLER'S MOM! I had to look her up on IMDb, though; I just kept thinking, "Where do I know Anna from?" and could come to no conclusion on my own. Aliana was right; it definitely perked up my mood.
