A more personalized variation on today's Writer's Block if you had to serve a meal to an ambassador from another country that symbolized your country's culture, what would you choose?
If I came to visit you, which of your region's dishes would you feed me?
For kicks, try not to say anything that's an obvious import, unless it's really become embedded in the culture of your region. Like, I would feed you fried green tomatoes, but they're not really not all that commonly served in Oklahoma, dammit, so you do not get them from me *sad*, BUT kabobs would be acceptable from a Brit.
What would you get from me? You can pick just one meal, I just felt like doing them all.
Breakfast: Oh, y'all would get biscuits and gravy, oh yes. I want some right. now.
Lunch: Indian tacos, my friends. They are not a fave of mine except for the frybread, because I am a carb FREAK, but they are very popular in these here parts. Oooh, or possibly onion burgers, which are also very popular around here, although I don't know if they're uncommon anywhere else.
Supper/Dinner: Chicken fried steak with white gravy, mashed potatoes with the same, and green beans or sweet potatoes. Or possibly bar-b-que, which I also don't particularly care for but lots of people do. AND MAYBE LAMB FRIES MWA HA HA HA HA HA *evil mustache twirl*
