brief update
So what's new in the life of Pinto? Not a ton. I've written about work ups and downs. The latter seems to be temporarily fixed by the almighty reboot. It has gotten rather winterly lately. I suppose since it is December that it is allowed. I finally got the window AC covered and the plastic on the windows. Sometimes I feel like white trash because I do that, but it isn't my fault the previous owner bought cheap ass windows.
We lost power the other night. Sunday, I think. It was during the transition from snow and ice to rain. I'm guessing some old tree died out over the summer and fell under all the weight of water. It took them a good 3-4 hours to get it back on, so Jaime and I sat in the dark with a couple of candles. Thankfully it wasn't too cold outside and the wind died down, so the house didn't get too cold.
Last Saturday I went over my old HS buddy Steve's house. Our other friend, Ryan, was there for a few hours while the Mrs. went to a craft show. I've been seeing quite a bit of those guys lately and it is nice. They're good peeps.
Work-wise, I'm almost a month ahead of schedule on the next revision for Momma Bear. I have to check what kind of hours I have in the budget to know how long I can milk it. I never said that.
