I just got back from my month in Belarus, and I'm not really sure where to begin.
Obviusly it was a very diverse place, and pretty unique in many ways. I put a small gallery here:
http://memorialshop.com/Belarus/ that shows a little bit of what we saw and did. I took almost 4000 pictures (aren't digital cameras great), and after deleting all the blurry ones from moving vehicles, I still have 3000, which I finally whittled down to about a 1000 that are posted here:
http://picasaweb.google.com/edobryan Some have captions, but most don't, though I tried to put a good description in each folder, so at least you have an idea what you're looking at. Even with all those pictures, I don't feel like I took enough, or at least that the ones I have don't really show what it's like.
It was a great trip and I have endless stories (I'm up to page 36 of the journal I kept), but fortunately for everyone, I'm too busy trying to catch up with work and getting ready for school to start to actually tell any of them. I am going to try to make a couple short entries about the most interesting things I saw though.
Let me know if you see something that you want to see more pictures of, I probably have them, or if you're curious about anything in particular.
Hopefully I'll see all of you soon
