There's a show on BBC called Top Gear, and they took a road trip to America on last week's episode. The whole thing is hilarious, but the interesting section is when they bought 3 junk cars and drove them from Miami to New Orleans. To make things more interesting, they painted slogans on the cars that weren't exactly popular in the south (Hillary for President, Man-Loves Rules, NASCAR Sucks, I'm Bi).
