Walking to Rivendell: End of Week 179
The big news this week is that koralleen has made it to Rauros Falls! Huzzah! There she is, wandering through ancient ruins and taking in the beautiful scenery, and a party of Orcs has to barge in and spoil it for everybody. So, where are you going now, koralleen? Will you go to Isengard on an Orc's back, or will you run there with Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli?
I forgot to mention last week that not only had landkurt made it to Lothlorien, he was also celebrating his first year on the road. Congratulations!
Our total mileage gets the "Missed It By That Much" award this week, as we are less than three tenths of a mile from 28,000 miles. That's a heck of a number, don't you think?
soprano1 has gone nine weeks without reporting any mileage, so try to get some in this week, soprano1. We'd rather not lose you, if possible.
Long walkers this week are landkurt, with over 35 miles (and two shields); lonebear, with over 20; and tacnukesoul, with over 15. Also, congrats to silmaril, who is back on her feet and ever so slowly increasing her distance. This week she earned her first shield since she broke her leg.
