This very moment, right here, right now, I feel I can do little but gape in astonishment. That and intense jealousy, because this is ridiculously brilliant. (And, yes that is quite the positive remark!) I love it! The shading, the proportions, the scene, the feel it gives the viewer. All these things I can never seem to do properly myself, you have just done, amazingly so!! I love it. I already said that, but I do; it's marvellous! Well done!

...Also, the texture on all the fabric and sheets and stuff? Superb. Really!

<3 Thank you!

I really loved the idea, and it was thrilling to have it come out so well. :) I have a heapload of wip shots, if you'd like to see the progress. I might compile it into something coherent.

Ajffksjdbwihodn!!!!! :D :D :D This is just stunning! Oh, my goodness. You especially really manage to capture Caspian's face just right -- his eyes especially are just stunning. And Edmund's so tiny, omg.

And the wine and the grapes and the haphazard sheets and oh, my LORD. This is stunning. Well done, you!!

Caspian's face was a right shock, it just turned up right, it was uncanny! :) Thank you so much! I loved painting this image, it was so much fun. <3

This is so amazing. The amount of details is stunning: I think I spent almost as much time staring at the grapes and the drapes as I spent admiring Caspian's beautiful face.
and that's saying something, because.. well Ben Barnes's face. I mean, I was so distracted by how gorgeous he looked during the movie that I almost failed to notice how gay it was.

so anyway, kudos for this wonderful piece. I must say I'm really curious about the story behind it...

speaking of stories, I've just realized I'm way behind all the fics that have been posted here.
So I'll try to tear myself from your drawing and go read your fics instead.

*grins* If there was a name for the phenomenon, it'd be called Ben Barnes Syndrome. He is just that beautiful. :D In the case of this movie it was easier than in say, Dorian Gray, because Skandar is no slouch either.

Thank you! I don't often go all out on details, but it was so worth it!

I have a short story about when and how this happens, but as I'm still buried in the huge sequel, it might be a while. :D Thanks again! *huggles*

He really, really is. and yes, I agree, Skandar is quite delicious himself.I'm amazed that between those two I was able to follow the "plot" (you know, the other plot, not the not-so-subtle telling of the love story between Edmund the Just and Caspian X, star/universe- crossed lovers ( ... )

I think it's lucky. The plot was quite laughable. XD But yeah, I absolutely agree, the movie's A plot is The Tragic Love Story, everything else is just window dressing. Point of interest, "star-crossed" means "thwarted by bad luck", so...

Hahaha, I'm much the same way. I have on on hard drive, I mean to watch it, but I just know it will be bad... and I know there's a Mary Sue love interest at the end. Plus, I have a very strong second-hand embarrassment. XD

*grins* I'm happy you're happy! The sequel is done plot-wise, but I know it needs a few edits, so it may be a while before it's fit for public consumption, but you may rest assured it is (in some way) done. :) Happy reading!
