A fascist slimeball named Harper.
On top of that... the popular vote has the NDP (lefties... heh) at 17% or so, and the Bloc Quebecois (the fucking seperatists) at about 10%... the SEATS however are NDP 29... and Bloc Q 51!!!!
Yeah - that isn't a disporportionate amount of power... fucking stupid french... if the seperatists would just fucking be a part of this country instead of bitching about it, then they'd be voting Liberal or NDP like the rest of the east... assholes.

308 seats total... 155 are needed for a majority government.
heh - look at a possible deciding government. If the Bloc and Liberals team up to stop the Tories, who somehow got the NDP to side with them (which can happen... like when they voted out the this last government...) then the votes would be 154 (103 + 51) to 153 (124 + 29)... and look who the Tories would need... the Independant! Just to TIE... Cool! heh
I hate this country sometimes... Alberta is TOTALLY Conservative now... only my riding (the liberal "thinking" part of Alberta) came close to beating a Torie. NDP was a close second. I think one Liberal incumbant almost kept her seat as well... also in Edmonton.
So the Bloc makes up 17% of the seats while representing only 10% of Canada's voters (located exclusively in Quebec, of course) and the NDP makes up only 9% of the seats in parliament, while 17% of Canada voted for them! I hate our system...
At least the Bloc lost both seats and popular vote from past elections.
