Do you love me?
Why does love come with the assumption of marriage? We can have loveless marriages, why not a marriage-less love? Why are we so obsessed with the symbolic, the ethereal connection that apparently accompanies a single band of metal that really has no value except what place in it? Maybe that's the point... maybe we put such value in a piece of metal that is worthless because what we invest into it's worth, our love, our companionship, all these things make into a precious metal. Regardless, I don't metal to serve as a focal point for my feelings for a person. I look forward to a marriage-less love.
