Angry (Queer) Composition Instructor Is Angry
It is really fucking exhausting to give polite and constructive feedback about papers that are written about “traditional family values.” But you have to do it.
I said her paper was personally offensive to me (and it really, really was, to the point that I’m writing this post-and how often, exactly, do I ever really talk about myself?) and I’m wondering if that’s overstepping my bounds even when I immediately went on to suggest ways in which she could make claims about her beliefs in a way that was more likely to get a warm reception.
Because I am a fucking professional.
