It is full of snigger-aww and also more impending angst and brotherly twee! Also the lack of dialogue is a strange sensation. Does Oswald know how to speak, now that he's visited other worlds?
I really don't know where this fixation of yours on impending angst has come from. After all, only happy things have happened so far, right...?
The lack of dialogue is a pain in the butt to write, and yet still necessary. UR MAJESTY, Y U NO TALK IN TIMELESS RIVER? But yes, Oswald and Mickey both know how to speak--Mickey just doesn't, and as for Oswald, talking is what he does with other people, not his brother.
But there is something different about Oswald now! Something that makes him different from everybody else on this world. Other than the keyblade, that is.
Dia dear, this is KH. KH is full of twee and fluff and adorable ("But what is my job on vacation?" Gah Roxas how do you exist you adorable zombie.) which is uses to lull you into a false sense of security. Then it whallops you with ouchies and people you were quite fond of getting killed. And he's not going to start talking for quite a while yet--it's like a neverending game of charades without rules. And Oswald's ears are totally chew-on-able! In Epic Mickey one of them keeps drooping into his face and he scrunches up his face and blows it back out of the way.
Yes, there's that... and the fact that Oswald is now wearing blue pants. Mickey would be horrified if he could see them right. And yes, Oswald's a veritable blaze of sunshine all on his own... just like Riku used to be.
I feel like the evil laughter is some sort of hint. I am not sure what has given me that impression.
So clearly it's his fault for having such chewable ears is his own fault. Maybe the Fairies could give him something to tie them back with? Or would that just be more annoying.
At least the black and white world is keeping Mickey's eyes from burning, then. ....and that is a fairly ominous thing to say really.
