Wheel of Fortune

Card number ten is the Wheel of Fortune. It is ruled by Jupiter. It signifies favorable or fortunate things that come our way. I believe the Sikhs understood this limitation of the traditional Hindu concept of karma, that some things arise simply by the grace of God and not by coldly mechanical cause and effect. On our path, things will come for our benefit and we simply recieve them. "The rain falls on the just and the unjust." (Ecclesiastes?)
I went to do some work in the Unity garden. It was good to be there and connect with some people. I have to find a way to progress spiritually, but to pick my battles at home. Working through the tarot by self-study and not being lead by a teacher in a class will bring me to a higher level. Mastering the reiki material will bring me up too. I intend on being at the next healing circle Tuesday night. I can continue to develop and I believe I bring a new energy to the group.
The preoccupatiion with facebook is waning. It was fantastic to see old faces, but I cannot be distracted.
Tomorrow, Imelda works and I expect to be at the Vineyard with the children. In the evening I need to study for a quiz on Monday. May I pull ahead with renewed vigor and focus.
