How Not to Win People Over

Dec 17, 2007 17:19

Dear Dr. Ron Paul,

Please stop the autodialer that is calling my home every day (sometimes twice a day) that is simply a recorded message.

If you can't bother to use volunteers to make personal phone calls (like everyone else does), then please don't bother. We all just hang up on recordings.

Us New Hampshire-ites are pretty much professionals at primary elections now: Listen to our advice. Get some volunteers on the phone. Make the calls personal. Otherwise, you're wasting a good phonebank.

Love,

P.S. I'm a registered Democrat: why are you calling my phone at all? It's weird. Not that I mind, because I just hang up. But it's weird. Everyone else has figured out long before now not to call registered voters on the opposite side of the aisle. Maybe you can't afford to buy the lists?
