Happy birthday to
heven2mrgatroid! I think it's entirely fitting that your birthday is celebrated today, as approximately half my Flist is celebrating Daniel Radcliffe's legality.
Why this makes me think of you, I have no idea.

Theoretically, I am going to San Francisco at 7 am on Thursday, but if I have laundry done, much less packed into a suitcase, it will be a miracle. Miracles do happen, right?
So here's an exciting piece of news: I am going to see the Giants on Saturday. There is a very good chance that I might see a certain much-talked-about record get broken. I have profoundly mixed feelings about being in attendance for this, as I think Barry Bonds symbolizes everything wrong with baseball, but I've never seen a baseball game where something interesting happens, at least not live. I wanted to go to NotCandlestick Park while we're out there anyway, and when I first thought of it, I figured this whole home run business would be done by then. Well, huh. Maybe not.
At least I will be enjoying the second-best sushi in the major leagues, record breaking or not.

And the runaway winner in the poll on how Harry Potter should have ended was:
""What the hell is 'rosebud'?" asked Ron, staring at Voldemort's crumpled body."
Thank you, Orson Welles. Your work is timeless and funny across decades. Thanks for stopping by, hundreds of
