Is it December yet?
This week and next are convention hell, in which I am forced to actually work -- egad! -- to earn my peanuts. But the operation is still smoother and less stressful than at any newspaper I ever worked for, so I can't complain too much. Plus there is free food every night and, ahem, cute boys.
On Sunday, MR and Michelle and I are headed to Grant Park for the Shade Festival and Corks n' Forks, wherein many local restaurants set up booths and give away food or beer or wine or what have you. I'm looking forward to trying some new places and enjoying an afternoon in the park. And hopefully not getting rained upon.
