Future Gazing
- Since I will only be doing one topic next year, maybe I will be able to get distinctions again. I'll really have the time to study, what with not being at the helm of the Writers' Club. The feeling of getting a distinction just rocks everything else my world.
- There is only one BSC book I don't have: #131: The Fire At Mary Anne's House. I also want another (good, if not great) copy of PC: Abby's Book, since the one I have is falling apart.
- I'm on the verge of making lots of fimo things, but I've been *gasp!* tidying up instead. Who'da thunkit?
- Life (with Damian Lewis and Sarah Shahi) is awesome. I got a $20 Borders gift card for Yule (thanks shiverwulf!), and have already spent it; it bought 4 nineths of the first season of Life, which I am now more addicted to than ever (and I was pretty hooked on it already!). I am happy, in Damian Lewis heaven. :)
- I am gearing up for my special Litha-and-Yule celebrations. I happen to celebrate them on the same day (Sunday, 21st December), since I am originally from the Northern Hemisphere (NoHemi), and now live in the Southern Hemisphere (SoHemi). [Being a SoHemi Pagan who was originally NoHemi is... confusing. So I tend to celebrate twice per season. It's really the only way that works for me.]
Plus, there's Christmas (I'm the only person in my family who isn't Christian, so I celebrate Christmas with them, too), Christmas Eve (always a special day for me; don't ask me why. Maybe because it is both busy and relaxed, and looking forward?), a Boxing Day barbecue, SA day, and then New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Phew! What a Silly Season!
[I can't wait to move out and live on my own, and be able to have my own mishmash of seasonal celebrations, exactly the way I want, without people being uneasy or whatever about it. I mean, it's not like Christianity was first. They *totally* took over Pagan celebrations... *eyeroll*]
- I have no idea what my new year's resolution should be. Maybe I should get with technology, and finally buy myself the Adobe Photoshop Elephants Elements that I've wanted for about 2 years? Obviously, if I do that, I'll get the newest copy (that my computer can run).
Maybe it should be to get a job (at least a Volunter job, but a paying job would be nicer) in an actual library?
Maybe it should be to save enough money to move out on my own?
Or maybe it should be just to finally get S3 of Veronica Mars, and S2 of Life...
