Ok, so I have Screewriting class every Monday and for the past two classes we have all been torn apart by the teacher when it comes time for us to read our assignments out loud. After everyone reads the teacher goes off on each of us. To various degrees of course. Last week I got it hard but this week wasn't so bad. I understand why he does it because we won't get babied in the real world if we were to pitch these ideas to studio executives and what not but it still makes it hard to get excited about your project. All the advice he gives is constructive and does help to write but it just takes a few hours to calm down and actually digest what has been said to you. On our ten minute break everyone just goes outside and rants. It is actually pretty funny. I don't usually go outside because everyone smokes out there but I find myself so angry that I must go out and bitch with them. 10 weeks to go and this will all be over.
