You’ve got your million dollar contract and they’re all waiting for your hot track

Well, I’ve dropped the ball with my journal all semester. I was doing well. Bah.

I’ve been working on my film still. Getting people together to actually act in a short film is a lot more difficult than it should be. We finally got a date worked out for November 13th. Hopefully all will go well and everyone will show up. This is my senior project after all. After that shoot I will have maybe two weeks to edit the thing together. That is not bad and I can probably manage but I had originally budgeted 4 weeks to edit. I will be filming the opening scene this weekend and hopefully get that all edited next week. It is fun but a little bit of a bitch to arrange. I do have an exit plan in case the film doesn’t get finished by the end of the semester. When my name is called to put the film on for the class to view, I will simply stand up and dance a little jig then run out of the room.

I did well on my mid terms a couple weeks ago. I got A’s, so I am doing pretty well if I do say so. I only need to take 2 classes in the Spring to graduate in May. I am thinking about taking a Photography class in addition to these two: an internship (which I am frantically looking for at the moment) and an online Sociology class.

I got to blow off some steam last weekend when I went to a club called The Copa with a few friends. It was a nice little place and they played some good music. We drank and danced then witnessed a costume contest. The winners were a couple dressed as a Cowboy and an Indian. Going along with what history tells us, the Indian dutifully bent over and was “screwed” by the Cowboy. God Bless America.

Next week I have to drive 2 hours back to my voting district. I was too lazy to re-register closer to home. Oh well, it really is worth it I suppose. Or at least it better be.
