SPRING BREAK!!!

Yeah!!! Show me your TITS!!!! Well...not quite that. I wake up Friday morning having to go to work for at least three hours and my throat hurts. Then as the three hours progress I realize that I have a major cold aproaching, by the end of my shift I was sick! As the hours passed by I lost my hearing, my taste, and of course my ability to BREATHE!!! Mo and I have been dodging going to San Jose for a couple months now, and this was the weekend we were suppose to go, and despite downpour and a horrible cold I forced him to get in that car and drive us up there. I spent three days sleeping and coughing on a lazy-boy. By the time I left I had gotten my ability to breath back but still couldn't taste or hear much. It wasn't until I was home for a day (yesterday) that I started to feel human again. Damn cold...on Spring Break...not like this is much of a Spring Break anyway, it's been raining and will continue to rain the whole time. But at least I'm not learning.
Oh, and this is a great story. So I come home, sick still, and I am winding dowm from a five hour car ride and my sister Casey comes in. She took an shoulder to the throat and there is this HUGE bump on her neck and when she swallows it moves...gross. So my parents tell her just to go to sleep and she'll be fine in the morning, but she wasn't fine in the morning, it was worse. So at 7AM I have to wake up and drive her to the doctors office, wait for an hour and when we finally get in there we find out she could have died last night! That's right, turns out when she took the shoulder to the throat it popped something or created this pocket on her thyroid that created this blood clot that has been bleeding into this pocket. Basicly, she's gonna have to go to a specialist and she could have died because it would have cut off her blood flow to her brain...or something like that. We all laughed about it, but it was a nervous laugh. So moral....if you take one to the throat go stright to the emergency room!
Okay, need to eat some food, and blow my nose. Hope everyone else is having a good time! -jen;)
