The Reason I Jump (Naoki Higashida - Translated by KA Yoshida & David Mitchell)

Not a very insightful read. It could be due to the translation. The original (Japanese) version might have carried more emotions in the narration. The translated (English) version felt like a word for a word translation, devoid of emotion. Also, it could be due to the fact that the book is not a memoir. It is more like an interview that doesn't have a storyline. The topics and questions/answers were sporadic, more like a compilation of interviews gathered from several takes instead of one take. Overall, I don't really think I learned anything new or different.
